He created a pillar of light at the museum entrance that symbolizes with many flashing diodes.

Then, I recommended an event that hold here. It's Studio Ghibli architecture in animation. Term is from October 8th 2016 to January 9th 2017. Museum hours are 10:00-20:00, but no admission after 19:30. Besides, Tuesdays, December 31st and January 1st will be closed.
Studio Ghibli has released many works of animation since its founding in 1985, and numerous "buildings" appear in its movies as the stage for the drama taking place. In this exhibition they present background art, concept art, backgroung art setting and other production materual for the buildings that populate Studio Ghibli films, from its starting points with " Nausica of the Vally of the Wind" to " When Marnie Was There". They have recreated Ghibli's most representative architecture in 3D models.

What's attractive things architectures have? It lies at intersection between human beings and their buildings. The buildings we live in are essential part of our lives. However, today, much of what is far from the original attraction of architecture between our buildings and ourselves. It is one of the things closest to us, but we often overlook. On the other hand, what do you think many buildings in the virtual world of Ghibli animations. From the towering Aburaya bathhouse in "Spirited Away" to the Latin Quarter clubhouse in " From Up on Poppy Hill", Howl's moving catsle, the Guchokipan Bakery in "Kiki's Delivery Service", the Kusakabe family home in "My Neighbor Totoro", the flying catsle of " Catsle in the Sky" and many more, Ghibli has designed unique building s that add character to  all of its films. These architectures seem to be not only virtual world but exist in reality, and impressive.
Movies-in particular animated movies-must create the all world on the screen. But shifting perspective, it can be said that movies are also an appearance for projecting ideals. All these remarkable buildings are envisioned within that process. They are not simply "fantasies". They are designed objects, created by carefully and intensely observing the real world and, based on that observation, time and again, the lives, eras and every other aspects of the movie's characters. For above all, it is their relationships with the characters that heightens these structure's appeal as architecture.
If you have time, visit this museum and enjoy Ghibli world.

4th presenter is Kaede Matsumoto, and 6th presenter is Yuka Uchikawa. They introduced same museum, so I report all at once.
They introduced National Art Center, Tokyo. This is biggest museum in Japan, and opened in 2007. Hours are from 10:00 to 18:00, but Fridays are 10:00-20:00. But last admission is 30 minutes before closing. Also, this is closed on Tuesdays. This is new type of art museum, for example, there are used glasses for interior. Also, there are various exhibition such as that is won good design prize.

5th presenter is Kyoka Takahama.
She introduced Umi-Mori Art Museum. This is in Hiroshima, hours are 10:00-20:00. This museum's basic principle is " Learn From Nature And Pursue Art And Culture". Cherry blossom in spring, rain in summer, Autumn leaves and snow in winter. We have grown our sensibility, made our aesthetics develop and created art culture. This museum tell you it.

7th presenter is Ayumi Noda.
She introduced Kitakyushu Municipal Museum Art. This is in Tobata, and opened in 1974. Hours are 9:30-17:30. ( No admission from 17:00) Closed days are Mondays. This is designed by Arata Isozaki. He designed this imaging Cathedral. Two big volume as cantilevers symbolize this building, and symmetry constitution. There are from impressionists to modern art.

8th presenter is Daichi Yoshizaki.
He introduced Louvre Museum, in Paris , France. "Louvre" means national in France. This museum is largest. Total area for art is 60600㎡. Originally, this is used as castle, officially open for museum is 1973. There are famous glass pyramid in entrance of this museum. This is designed by Ieoh Ming Pei. Besides, this museum and this pyramid is used in movie "The Da Vinci Code", and has an important role in it.

9th presenter is Masashi Urata.
He introduced The Metropolitan Museum of Art, in Manhattan, New York. This is one of largest museums in the world. The establishment of this museum is in 1866, in Paris. People who got together to celebrate independence day of America suggested. There are out of 3 millions exhibitions, and this is popular to be collected many kinds of art works.

10th presenter is Yota Fukuzumi.
He introduced Vatican art museum. This is also one of biggest museums in the world, surprisingly, this is out of 500 years history. First opened this museum, this is small scale, but steadily be present size. Most characteristic of this architecture is double spiral stairs. This is unified up and down, and is mysterious and beautiful. Besides, in this museum, we can touch some artworks to feel deeper, and enjoy for blind people. This is abnormal and rare in museum.

I think there are many museums that challenge our aesthetic sense not only artworks but including architecture. We do not feel art in daily life except when we visit place such museums though art exist everywhere. I think this is the reason to establish museums all over the world.

The House We Wouldn't Like To Live In

I report you about each house that we don't want to live in.

1st presenter, Asuka Nakamura, and 5th presenter is me, Yukino Jojima.

She introduced about "Tree In The House". This is same architecture that I introduced, so I report this house in all at once.
First, I'll tell you about rough information. This is planned by architect, Aibek Almassav. He is from Republic of Kazakhstan.
Tree In The House is in the forest. As you can see, around this house's 360 degree-view is forest. It created for that would feel more fusion with nature and give up some unnecessary conditions and things. The house has to be something that can only develop your spiritual and creative development.
The glazed walls and ceiling will reveal 4 narrow ring shaped floors, as well as a spiraling white staircase that wraps around the tree. As you can see, images show the big branchs of the tree extending outwards towards the glazed walls and roof, encroaching on the minimal floor space.
First designed in 2013, the dream was shattered when investors pulled out because it seemed the project would never be completed. It means lacking money. Now, however, a glass and solor panel manufacturer expressing is interest. According to Almassov,  "Tree In The House" could soon become a reality.
Then, let me introduce what Mr. Almassov said. He said, "About two years ago I created the design of the house which was harmless and as close to the nature. I respect nature, it feeds us but we destroy it. The main purpose of this project is to offer an alternatively to the bustle of city life." Furthermore, "we wanted to combine the capabilities of modern industrial design and the natural wealth and beauty. And more importantly, it doesn't harm to environment. This is an oppotunity to escape from the sweltering concrete boxes and feel the present unity with nature.
By the way, I report you about reasons why she doesn't want to live here.
First, she thinks she cannot relax in this house. In this regard I agree with her. She'd like to relax in her room, so it doesn't proper as her house.
Second, she guess that she worrys about animals if she's in here. This is enough possibility because this is in forest.
Last, she said a good point for her. It is that we can see beautiful night view in this house.
Next, I'll tell you about reasons why I don't want to live in here.
First, as mentioned above, there is no privacy from outside. All view is forest, but we cannot predict when or who or how someone visits or watches us. I dislike to spend my daily life under watching by someone. It's common sense for me, so I was frightened when I see this house, for the first time.
Next, I think it seems that there is a problem of insects. This is a fatal and important. I think there are many insects on the tree that both in house and outside. Getting dark, insects will get together to the lightly house. This is grotesque for me only imagine. It is clear that the view of insects get together is not beautiful.
Last, I'm acrofobic. Acrofobic means that I have fear of heights. I hate high place. Therefore, if I live in, I cannot use 3 and 4 floor. It's unuseful, and meaningless. This is why I don't want to live in "Tree In The House." Living in here is difficult for me though there is a saying " wherever you live is the best place.
I agree with the opinion that we should live with nature for future environment, but first of all, I think house is exist for living people comfortably.

2nd presenter is Miyuki Uemura, and 3rd presenter is Satomi Konishi.

They introduced same house, so I report in all at once.

They introduced "Clear House", it is in Tokyo. Surprisingly, almost all walls are glass. This is said that one of the glass houses of the three in the world. This is designed by Sosuke Fujimoto, and built for a married couple. It costs to build 49 millions yen. This is little expensive compared with average of  house for an couple. Inside is completely opened view.
Then, I'll tell you about reasons that they wouldn't like to live.
Miyuki Uemura saids it's noisy that trains go through near this house. Also, there is no privacy.
Satomi Konishi saids it is fault that there is no privacy because she is shamed, and this house cannot brock sunlight, but she examined that it's beautiful that looking from outside.

4th presenter is Mayu Sakazaki, and 9th presenter is Mao Shimoda.

They introduced same house, so I report in all at once.

They introduced " Cliff House." Cliff House is in Melbourne in Australia, designed by Australian building company. Surprisingly, Cliff House is stticking out from cliff. When I heard this information, I thought it is good for who can enjoy this extraordinary feeling, but it's the worst view for who hates high place.  Entry to the house is through a garage on the top floor and a lift takes you down to four living spaces. On the second floor is lounge with open-plan kitchen. There are two double bedrooms with a shared bedroom on the third floor, with another bedroom. And then you have your open air Jacuzzi and BBQ area on the last level.
Next, I'll tell you about reasons they wouldn't like to live in here.
Mayu Sakazaki has 2 reasons. First, she thinks that it's scared the sea view from this house. Second, it's dangerous that parking space has no car stopper.
Mao Shimoda worried about if it fall down whatever there are some proofs that it is safe. Also, as same as Ms. Sakazaki, he thinks it's dangerous that parking space has no car stopper.

6th presenter is Kazuki Matsumoto.

He introduced The Haunted Mansion. As you know, this is one of popular attractions in Tokyo Disney Land. However, this has one background story that many people don't know.
The Haunted Mansion was built by an Dutch mayor, Ub van der lwerks in October 31st in 1671.  Although some senior warned him there is holy Indian graveyard, he chose area that a hill where we can see river for this mansion. While building this mansion, he worried about some accidents that unidentified, but it's completed in October 31st in 1671, and he moved here with his familiy.
However, he became be crazy since he moved and he buried his grave by himself. This is why, his family moved from this mansion. After 10 years, this mansion was used as haunt of homeless or barracks.
In 1871, leading figure of this area, Ronald Stevens got right of this mansion. Ronald begun repairing, but some accidents that unidentified happened. Immediately after Stevens's family moved here, Ronald became be crazy and he was dead by explosion in a boiler at the day of he wrote his name on his gravestone. After his death, Stevens's family sold their house to Necromancy society of U.S.A. This society used this mansion to call ghost in midnight. They called ghost more 900 times until breakup in 1914. Later, this masion is sold to George Gracie.
The reason that Mr. Matsumoto wouldn't like to live here is very simple, he dislike ghost.

7th presenter is Yuki Tanoue.

He introduced houses in a row in Sumiyoshi, designed by famous Japanese architect, Tadao Ando 1976. This is 3 storied house, a reinforced concrete  and one third is courtyard. Also, a side wall has no window so there is no sunlight from this side. He has 3 reasons that he wouldn't like to live here.
First, there is no roof in courtyard so he needs umbrella when it's rainy day to go through here.
Second, this is pressure becouse this house is surrounded by concrete.
Third, according  to one study, people die 9 years earlier if they live in all concrete house.
I agree with him whatever this hause is designed by famous architect.

8th presenter is Shota Hashimoto.

He introduced the floating house in Hiroshima.
This house is looked like normal, but seeing from opposite side, it looks like floating. This is supported by steel frame. He thinks it seems that fall down by  something earthquake.
Also,  this house is introduced by TV show as a rare view. Besides, you can see this house using google earth without going Hiroshima if you would like to see it.

I think it is interesting to hear houses that they would't like to live in. It has high relativity compared with something favorite. However, everything has good and bad points, so if almost all people dislike it, maybe there is someone who likes it in somewhere. I hope that these houses become be useful for someone someday.

He introduced his favorite chair, Barcelone Chair. This is designed by mies van der rohe who is famous and said "One of  the three biggest mordern architect in the world."He said "God is in details.Masashi Urata loves him. 9th presenter is me, Yukino Jojima.

I introduced 2 chairs that I'm intereseted in.
One is Carpet Chair. Carpet Chair is planned by collaboration of furniture designer in Republic of Cyprus, Stelios Mousarris and artist, Jan Blythe. Stelios Moussarris is a Cyprus based furniture designer whose brand, Mousarris is best known for creating surreal and sculptural functional art objects. His most recognized work is the “wave city”collection, which plays with the manipulation of architectural elements to form a coffee and dining table.
Back to the Chair,  the shape is like a carpet, and this is made by curving a carpet to shape of chair. Usually, chairs are used some wood or steel for framework, but we cannot see such that.According to informations, the price is from 12,000euro to 30,000euro.Convert to Japanese yen, this is from 1,500,000yen to 3,900,000 yen. I think it is so expensive, but this absolutely hand made and takes for over 4 months to produce, besides, it’s used just Percian carpet. Assuming that, this price maybe appropriate.Another is the Cut Chair. This Cut Chair provides a place to sit, but creates an optical illusion that tells you otherwise. A plate concealed by a thick carpet allows a robust cantilevered seat. Three well placed leg “stamps” and the chair looks as though it has just been magically sliced apart. As you can see , Cut Chair makes us who see it feel illusion. It looks like floating because back of the chair and parts of legs are cut. You maybe think nobady can sit this chair unless who is really really light, however, Chair has functions to make someone sit. Therefore, we can sit and step without destroying chair By the way, do you think why we can sit that. This chair has a secret to be safe to make someone sit. Actually, under the chair, there is a steel plate. Cut Chair is connected to this steel plate, so this is able to stand oneself. Also, Cut Chair’s  price is 5,000 dollars. Convert to Japanese yen, it’s  about 540,000.Besides This is made to order only, so it takes some weeks to produce it I think this chair is very interesting, but someone asks that I want or need this chair, absolutely I answered I don’t need. This wonderful chair is planned by designer, Peter Bristol. His work blends from with function in uniquely appropriate ways making products that are inherently recognizable. Peter is currently head of industrial design at Oculus. Oculus means eye ball. He was previously creative director of renowned Seattle-baased product development consultancy Carbon Design Group. Parallel to his work at Oculus, Peter partners with design focused partners to create furniture, lighting and other goods.I know rare and interesting chair price has big cost, but I want a chair more functional in daily life.

10th presenter is Kaede Matsumoto, and 11th presenter is Yuka Uchikawa.

They introduced same Egg Chair  by coincidence. This is rare though there are some millions chairs. The Egg is available in a wide range of fabric and leather upholstery. The star base is made of aluminium mounted on a satin polished steel pedestal. The shells are made of a synthetic material, padded with cold-cured foam. An upholstered foot stool with aluminium base is available for the Egg. The price is 700,000 yen.This chair is designed by Arne Jacobsen and Frits Hansen. The cooperation between Arne Jacobsen and Fritz Hansen dates back to 1934. But it was in 1952 the break-through came with the Ant. It was succeeded by the Series 7 in 1955. This propelled his and Fritz Hansen's names into furniture history. Arne Jacobsen was very productive both as an architect and as a designer. At the end of the 50s Arne Jacobsen designed the Royal Hotel in Copenhagen, and for that project the Egg, the Swan, the Swan sofa and Series 3300.

Egg Chair

I think there are many interesting chairs.  Chairs are very familiar furniture in our daily life, so it's easy to think for everybody whatever expertise that is a little bit difficult. However, I think it is expensive for me that "good" chair.
