Ms. Kakiiwa likes this chair, especially this cool design. According to her, it's ideal for her. Another is Hand Chair. This is designed by Japanese designer, Taro Okamoto. First of all, we are surprised the unique shape. It's very hand. She told us it has very interesting shape, but it's too hard to sit and she cannot put this in her house. This is why, when she is asked if she want to buy this chair, she seems to answer "No thank you."

She can take a glass to drink something sweet easily thanks to absence of armrest. Besides, she said that the shape of chair is a little bit similar to 412 CAB designed by Mario Bellini who is famous Italian designer and architect. The price of chair is 30,000 yen. According to her, it was expensive, but Anthem Chair makes her relax and  she thinks the design fits any rooms. Therefore, she has no compliants about Anthem Chair.

This is designed by mies van der rohe who is famous and said "One of  the three biggest mordern architect in the world."He said "God is in details.Masashi Urata loves him. She introduced Y Chair. This is designed by Hans J. Wegner, Danish architect who is considered a pioneering furniture designer of the twentieth century. This is named from what the figure of frame is looked like alphabet  Y. There is large sitting surface and beautiful lines from back to armrest. Many people over the generation love this chair as they can relax in dining.

9th presenter is me, Yukino Jojima.

I introduced 2 chairs that I'm intereseted in.
One is Carpet Chair. Carpet Chair is planned by collaboration of furniture designer in Republic of Cyprus, Stelios Mousarris and artist, Jan Blythe. Stelios Moussarris is a Cyprus based furniture designer whose brand, Mousarris is best known for creating surreal and sculptural functional art objects. His most recognized work is the “wave city”collection, which plays with the manipulation of architectural elements to form a coffee and dining table.
Back to the Chair,  the shape is like a carpet, and this is made by curving a carpet to shape of chair. Usually, chairs are used some wood or steel for framework, but we cannot see such that.According to informations, the price is from 12,000euro to 30,000euro.Convert to Japanese yen, this is from 1,500,000yen to 3,900,000 yen. I think it is so expensive, but this absolutely hand made and takes for over 4 months to produce, besides, it’s used just Percian carpet. Assuming that, this price maybe appropriate.Another is the Cut Chair. This Cut Chair provides a place to sit, but creates an optical illusion that tells you otherwise. A plate concealed by a thick carpet allows a robust cantilevered seat. Three well placed leg “stamps” and the chair looks as though it has just been magically sliced apart. As you can see , Cut Chair makes us who see it feel illusion. It looks like floating because back of the chair and parts of legs are cut. You maybe think nobady can sit this chair unless who is really really light, however, Chair has functions to make someone sit. Therefore, we can sit and step without destroying chair By the way, do you think why we can sit that. This chair has a secret to be safe to make someone sit. Actually, under the chair, there is a steel plate. Cut Chair is connected to this steel plate, so this is able to stand oneself. Also, Cut Chair’s  price is 5,000 dollars. Convert to Japanese yen, it’s  about 540,000.Besides This is made to order only, so it takes some weeks to produce it I think this chair is very interesting, but someone asks that I want or need this chair, absolutely I answered I don’t need. This wonderful chair is planned by designer, Peter Bristol. His work blends from with function in uniquely appropriate ways making products that are inherently recognizable. Peter is currently head of industrial design at Oculus. Oculus means eye ball. He was previously creative director of renowned Seattle-baased product development consultancy Carbon Design Group. Parallel to his work at Oculus, Peter partners with design focused partners to create furniture, lighting and other goods.I know rare and interesting chair price has big cost, but I want a chair more functional in daily life.

10th presenter is Kaede Matsumoto, and 11th presenter is Yuka Uchikawa.

They introduced same Egg Chair  by coincidence. This is rare though there are some millions chairs. The Egg is available in a wide range of fabric and leather upholstery. The star base is made of aluminium mounted on a satin polished steel pedestal. The shells are made of a synthetic material, padded with cold-cured foam. An upholstered foot stool with aluminium base is available for the Egg. The price is 700,000 yen.This chair is designed by Arne Jacobsen and Frits Hansen. The cooperation between Arne Jacobsen and Fritz Hansen dates back to 1934. But it was in 1952 the break-through came with the Ant. It was succeeded by the Series 7 in 1955. This propelled his and Fritz Hansen's names into furniture history. Arne Jacobsen was very productive both as an architect and as a designer. At the end of the 50s Arne Jacobsen designed the Royal Hotel in Copenhagen, and for that project the Egg, the Swan, the Swan sofa and Series 3300.

I think there are many interesting chairs.  Chairs are very familiar furniture in our daily life, so it's easy to think for everybody whatever expertise that is a little bit difficult. However, I think it is expensive for me that "good" chair.
